Equality for HER’s purpose is to provide free educational resources about issues affecting individuals of the feminine identifying community through the development of events, programs, original content, online materials, and print publications.
Equality for HER presents Modern HERstory, the organization's first print publication. Modern HERstory features over 50 influential figures from the past and present with of biographies written by Blair Imani and illustrations by artist Monique Le.
Managed by Editorial Director, Glendon Francis, our media platform is host to original content such as first hand narratives, stories, and research. The internship is focused on skill cultivation and professional development. Participants receive Equality for HER's syllabus, course material, and access to exclusive webinars from a variety of experts. Key course material includes trainings and workshops on Inclusive Language, Digital Storytelling, Personal Branding, and Networking.
Our visual campaigns are cause based and are primarily focused on awareness raising. Our past campaigns included a web based resource module on domestic violence, educational campaigns during Women's History Month, and a series called Femme Founders which features femme-identifying founders of companies, movements, and organizations.
